Release & Align with Lou

A morning session to shift energy; to move, release and then align with with your own powerful centre. We’ll use simple somatic release techniques (including shaking, healing self-touch and breath work), Polarity Yoga, plus relaxation and journalling to ground and integrate.

 

Places are very limited with small group numbers. Not suitable for complete beginners or those working with PTSD or severe mental health challenges

Sacred Sound – Mantra and Kirtan with Ivana

​The word Mantra is derived from two Sanskrit roots; manas ‘mind’ and tra meaning ‘tool’. Mantra can teach the mind to become increasingly absorbed in that which is most essential. The Upanishads tell us that mantras can lead us towards healing, inspiration, transformation & self-realisation.

Kirtan – devotional, melodic call and response chanting in Sanskrit. Calling upon the sacred sound to allow your body and mind to absorb them. Come and elevate yourself into a state of joy, unity and deep connection.

 

Booking is essential as spaces are limited. Open to everyone and complete beginners are welcome.

Sublime Teachings of Tantra-Awaken Universal Awareness with Ivana

Join Ivana in this extended practice that blends the rich tapestry of Tantric Hatha Yoga,  Kriya Meditation, Mantra, and Yoga philosophy. This masterclass invites you to delve into Tantra's profound power and sublime teachings. 

This is a practice where intentional and centring asana, pranayama, and the resonant sound of the harmonium merge seamlessly with the reverberating pulse of the universe. We will close the practice with a meditation technique that guides you towards quietude and awareness of the central channel. Tapping into the healing and power of mantra and sacred silence to awaken infinite awareness.

With reverence and compassion, I create a safe and nurturing space for you to access your inner wisdom, find inspiration, and tap into your innate capacity for self-healing and transformation.

You will gain knowledge and experience of: 

  • Techniques that make you 'shine'

  • Increased self-awareness

  • Knowing how to integrate these teachings to evolve your spiritual practice and most importantly your daily life

But this practice is not just about knowing; it's about experiencing the 'unknown' and building trust -shraddha- in this process of Life.

Reflect & Align with Ivana

Reflect & Align practice was the annual end-of-the-year practice.  Most of us can agree if we want to move in a new direction or create lasting changes we need to reflect and align more than once a year! 

The Spring Equinox, Summer Solstice, Autumn Equinox and Winter Solstice are significant events in the Earth’s annual journey around the sun. They mark key points in the changing of the seasons and provide an opportunity for reflection and alignment.

We gather to honour the changes happening within and around us. This is an invitation to deepen your connection and appreciation to nature, our intentions, core values and use the support of cyclical nature for our evolution and soul purpose. 

Expect mandala making, mantra chanting, and simple movement to prepare you for a deep guided seasonal Yoga Nidra to access a sense of clarity and effortless awareness.

Allowing time for reflection, self-inquiry and connection to yourself and others.

Seva Yoga with Ivana

Ivana is on board with Softly Softly Yoga CIC this year, teaching six free evening classes as part of the 'Yoga for Peace' project.

These classes will be holistic, restorative, and attuned to the energy of the group.

This project is run by Softly Softly Yoga CIC and funded by the National Lottery for those on low incomes, unpaid carers, and those with long-term health issues and other challenging circumstances.

Shake the Dust with Marie

A somatic release class of shaking, jumping, perpetual movements, yoga and free movement. Guided by a carefully curated soudscape, the class is a sequence of lifting & lowering, designed to build nervous system resilience and help expand your window of tolerance. As well as creating a space to explore freedom in movement and expression as a form of release. This class is for anyone and everyone, including those looking to manage anxiety &/or depression, anyone recovering from trauma or health conditions such as CFS, long-covid, burnout - anything that has thrown your NS out of whack and left you feeling out of balance. Guided and held with care by Marie who is professionally trained & well equipped to support you on this journey.
